Seven principles guide every garden we make — an aesthetic that values less over more, suggestion over declaration, and time over perfection.

Simplicity

Simplicity is the removal of what is unnecessary. It is not emptiness for its own sake, but clarity achieved through restraint.

Asymmetry & Imperfection

We recognize that natural beauty is rarely symmetrical or mathematically perfect. Unevenness, irregularity and imbalance give things character and vitality.

Subtle, Unforced Beauty

Beauty is often quiet, refined and unobtrusive. It does not demand attention or reveal everything immediately.

Naturalness

Naturalness is without carelessness. It describes something thoughtfully made that does not appear forced or artificial.

Mystery & Profound Grace

A landscape should not reveal everything at once. We value suggestion, depth and a sense of the ineffable — qualities that invite return and reward attention over time.

Freedom from Convention

This is a release from habit, rules and ordinary expectations. We encourage freedom, surprise and a fresh way of seeing.

Tranquility

Tranquility is an active stillness: a sense of calm that remains present even when the world is moving.

We are designers of landscapes and experiences. We have always been transdisciplinary in nature, designing across silos for deeply integrated solutions, and we see even greater potential as problem-solvers, innovators and creative thinkers.
